Airline Scope (“we”, “us” and “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to taking reasonable steps towards protecting your privacy online and managing your information responsibly, in order to best understand the products and services that are most useful to you. Airline Scope is bound by the  Privacy Act 1988  (Cth) ( Privacy Act ), including the Australian Privacy Principles ( APPs ), and any relevant privacy code registered under the Privacy Act.

This Privacy Policy describes the way Airline Scope collects, holds and uses Personal Information that is covered by the Privacy Act. It is not intended to cover categories of Personal Information that are not covered by the Privacy Act.  If you wish to make any inquiries regarding this Privacy Policy, you should contact Airline Scope on the email address provided at the end of this document.

Airline Scope may, from time to time, review and update this Privacy Policy including to take into account new laws, regulations and technology. All Personal Information held by Airline Scope will be governed by our most recent Privacy Policy, posted on our website www.airlinescope.com. The Personal Information we collect from or about individuals, is the information that is reasonably necessary for our business purposes to run our site and provide our services. We may collect a significant amount of Personal Information from or about an individual including their:

We do not have a need to collect sensitive information (such as race, religion, ethnicity, health information, criminal record, sexual orientation, trade union memberships etc.) so will not collect this information.

Cookies.  Most browsers let you remove and/or stop accepting cookies from the websites you visit.  To do this, follow the instructions in your browser’s settings. .

Advertising Choices.  You may opt-out of interest-based advertising.

Privacy settings and location data.  Users of our App can disable our access to their device’s precise geo-location in their mobile device settings.

Choosing not to share your personal information.  If you do not provide information that we need to provide the Service, we may not be able to provide you with the Service or certain features.  We will tell you what information you must provide to receive the Service when we request it.

Third-party platforms or social media networks.  If you choose to create an account through or connect the Service with another third-party platform, you may have the ability to limit the information that we may obtain from the third-party at the time you log in to the Service using the third-party’s authentication service or otherwise connect your account.  You may also be able to control your settings through the third-party’s platform or service after you have connected your accounts.

OTHER SITES, MOBILE APPLICATIONS AND SERVICES

ANALYTICS

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Services. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.

You can opt-out of having made your activity on the Services available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity.

The security of your personal information is important to us.  We employ a number of organizational, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information we collect.  However, security risk is inherent in all internet and information technologies and we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.

INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Airline Scope Travel is located in Australia and may have service providers in other countries. The data can transfer to other countries to which you consent to.

CHILDREN

The Service is not intended for use by children under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect information about children under age 18 through the Service.  If we learn that we have collected personal information of a child without the consent of the child’s parent or guardian as required by law, we will delete it.

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by updating the date of this Privacy Policy and posting it on the Sites.
